What happened to the T Haddy VIP’s website? Well my friend, I’ve been asking myself that same question for the past few months. My perspective of the question is much different than yours, and here I will reveal them all.

First off, I was just as surprised as you to log on to the website to see a splash page from ning.com that read “oops this page doesn’t exist..would you like to start your own network?” In fact I was furious about it. Just in case you didn’t know by now, ning.com is the web platform that I used to create thaddy ViP’s. This is the same platform used by artist like 50 cent with thisis50.com and the long gone illspot.net .  There are a host of many more websites that use ning.com as it’s web platform for social networked based websites.

But what’s up with the splash page that I had for ViP’s? Honestly, I don’t know what happened. There are a number of things I can speculate.

1. Ning could just be having  some major technical diffuculties.

-This isn’t good if you don’t pay a monthly service fee for quick response to technical issues which I refuse to pay because of my past experiences with ning.

2. Ning could be desperate to get some more web hits.

-This speculation is far fetched, but i wouldn’t put it past them since they have been becoming more and more aggressive in the efforts to tag all networks during maintenance and technical issues

3. This is just God’s way of letting me know its time to change things up a little.

- I’ll explain more about this below.

One thing about me that may be different from others is I don’t like FLUFF. It is, what it is, and that is should be seen and known by others. You’re not gonna here me jumping on a track talking about something that isn’t true. I’ll talk about what I wanna see in the future, but If I an’t got it yet, you won’t here me talking about it in the present tense.

So here’s the deal. thaddyvip.net reached a  membership of 1300 in the course of 1 year. From an outsiders perspective, that seems pretty dog on good. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m very pleased that I touched that amount of people to the point of them answering some questions and joining up, but at the end of the day, it’s a social network which means it needs network and interaction between members. That interaction never stayed consistent.  We posted endless amounts of blogs from subjects ranging from entertainment to spiritual views, and it was rare to get comments on posts. Not on all of them, but the majority of blogs posted got no responses.

There are very few social networks that can stand there ground to such competitive spots like facebook.com. The bottom line is that you gotta have some kinda hook that separates you from a monster like facebook.

I definitely want to give a shout out to Eric Ayers for staying so faithful to the site, and reaching out, and welcoming new members, and just making folks feel at home, but the real deal is…..It takes more than a few to keep a social network popping.

There are still issues going on with the VIP site, and honestly, I don’t know what I should do when things finally are fixed on ning’s end.

I’ve posted blogs on Vip’s, and reached out to you all about ways we can make the site more appealing, but I guess I was too late. Anyhow, because it takes a lot of time and money to run a site like ViP’s it may end up on the chopping block due to lack of response from my supporters and fans.

Well thats the honest truth about everything. Don’t take any of it personally. I live, learn, and adjust to the cards dealt to me, and so should you.

When thaddy ViP’s finally comes back on line, you’ll find it at www.thaddy.ning.com . The other domain name (www.thaddyvip.net) will direct you here until I can make a decision about what I’ll do with the VIP site.
